These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and PREMIER MOBILE APPS, a partnership firm registered in India ("we", "us", "our"), about your use of the mobile application Dog Translator: Dog to Human (the "App").
Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The most important thing to know: this App is for entertainment only. It cannot really translate what a dog is saying. Nothing in the App is veterinary, medical, training or safety advice. Never make a decision about your dog's health or behaviour based on the App.
1. Entertainment purpose and no real translation
The App uses sound analysis, images and pre-written content to produce fun, playful results. It is a novelty and entertainment product.
The App does not perform a genuine translation of dog vocalisations into human language. There is no scientific method that does this, and we make no claim that it does.
"Translations", emotions, moods and messages shown by the App are generated for amusement and are not statements of fact about your dog.
Dog whistle and sound features produce audio tones. They may or may not get your dog's attention, and results vary by dog.
2. Not veterinary or professional advice
Any information about breeds, behaviour, health, food, first aid, training, risks or life expectancy that the App displays is general information only. It is not a diagnosis and not professional advice.
Always consult a licensed veterinarian or qualified professional trainer about your dog's health, diet, behaviour or safety. If your dog is unwell or injured, contact a veterinarian immediately. Do not delay or ignore professional advice because of anything you saw in the App.
3. Who may use the App
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom you must be at least 16.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the App with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You must be able to form a binding contract, and you must not be barred from using the App under the laws of your country.
4. Licence to use the App
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and with Google Play's rules.
We keep all rights we do not expressly grant you.
5. What you must not do
You agree not to:
copy, modify, translate, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where the law expressly allows it;
remove or hide any copyright, trademark or other notice in the App;
rent, lease, sell, sublicense, distribute or make the App available to third parties;
use the App to break any law, or to harm, harass, threaten or defraud anyone;
upload or submit photos, suggestions or other content that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, that shows sexual content, violence or cruelty to animals, or that contains other people's private information without their permission;
photograph or record a person without their consent where the law requires it;
use bots, scripts or automated tools to interact with the App or the services it connects to;
attempt to bypass ads, purchase checks, rate limits, security measures or access restrictions;
overload, disrupt or attack the App's servers or the third-party services it uses.
We may suspend or stop your access to the App if you break these rules.
6. Dog Scanner results
The Dog Scanner sends the photo you choose to a third-party automated image analysis service, which uses an AI model to produce information about the dog in the picture.
Results are estimates, not facts. Breed identification in particular is a guess based on appearance and it can be wrong.
Results may be incomplete, outdated or misleading. We do not review or verify them before you see them, and we do not guarantee their accuracy.
Anything shown about food, first aid, risks, training, weight or lifespan is general reading material only. It is not veterinary advice, and section 2 above applies to it in full.
You are responsible for how you use the results. Do not rely on them for any decision about your dog's health, diet or safety.
The scanner may fail or refuse to produce a result, for example if the photo does not contain a dog or the photo is unclear.
7. Your content
"Your Content" means the photos you capture or select and the audio you record in the App.
You keep all ownership of Your Content. We do not claim it.
You confirm that you have the right to use Your Content and that it does not break anyone else's rights or the law.
You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process Your Content only for the purpose of running the feature you asked for: analysing the sound on your device, or sending your photo to the AI provider to produce a result for you. This licence ends when the processing is finished.
We do not use Your Content for advertising, and we do not sell it.
How Your Content is handled is described in detail in our Privacy Policy.
8. Advertising
The free version of the App is supported by advertising. By using the free version you agree that ads may be shown, including banner, interstitial (full-screen) and rewarded video ads.
Ads are supplied by third-party ad networks. We do not control the content of individual ads and we are not responsible for the products, services or claims in them. If you interact with an ad, you deal directly with that advertiser and their terms apply.
9. Purchases and refunds
The App offers an optional one-time purchase that removes ads and unlocks premium features. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. You are never charged again after the single payment.
All payments are processed by Google Play. We never receive your payment card details. Google's terms of sale apply to the transaction.
The price, currency and applicable taxes are shown in the App before you confirm. Prices can change; a change never affects a purchase you already completed.
Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly for a Google Play purchase. You may also have statutory cancellation rights under your local consumer law, which these Terms do not limit.
The purchase is tied to the Google account used to buy it. If you change device or reinstall, sign in with the same Google account and the App will restore your access.
We may change, limit or discontinue a paid feature. If we permanently remove a feature you paid for, contact us and we will work with you on a fair solution.
10. Device permissions, data and costs
Some features need the microphone or camera permission. You can refuse or revoke a permission at any time in Android Settings; the affected feature will simply not work.
The App needs an internet connection for the Dog Scanner, ads and remote settings. Your mobile operator's data charges apply and are your responsibility.
The dog whistle and sound features can play high-frequency or loud audio. Use them at a sensible volume, do not use them close to a person's or animal's ears, and stop if your dog shows distress. You use these features at your own risk.
11. Third-party services
The App relies on services operated by others, including Google Play services, Firebase, ad networks and AI providers. Their availability, performance and terms are outside our control. Links inside the App to other websites are provided for convenience only, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
12. Intellectual property
The App, its name, logo, design, text, graphics, animations, sounds, models and source code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.
13. Updates and availability
We may release updates, and Google Play may install them automatically. We may add, change or remove features at any time. We may also suspend or discontinue the App entirely, with notice where reasonably possible. We do not promise the App will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will meet your expectations, that its results will be accurate or reliable, or that defects will be corrected.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot legally be waived.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or harm to a person or animal, arising out of or connected with your use of the App.
Our total liability to you for all claims relating to the App is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
17. Termination
You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we stop offering the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 12, 14, 15, 16 and 19) will continue to apply.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date on this page and, for significant changes, give notice inside the App or on our website. If you keep using the App after the change takes effect, you accept the new Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the App and uninstall it.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer living in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another country whose law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country's courts and to benefit from your local mandatory consumer protection rules, this section does not take those rights away from you.

20. Google Play
These Terms are between you and us, not with Google. Google is not responsible for the App or its content. Your use of the App must also follow the Google Play Terms of Service.
21. General
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the App.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
If we do not enforce a right, that is not a waiver of it.
You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a successor of our business.
These Terms are written in English. Any translation is for convenience; the English version governs.
