This Privacy Policy explains how PREMIER MOBILE APPS, a partnership firm registered in India ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses and shares information when you use the mobile application Dog Translator: Dog to Human (the "App").
Please read this policy before using the App. By downloading or using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Dog Translator: Dog to Human is an entertainment app. It lets you:
The App does not literally translate dog language. Results are for fun and general information only.
| Data | When | What happens to it |
|---|---|---|
| Microphone audio (dog sounds / sounds near you) | Only while you are on the translator screen and press record, after you grant the microphone permission. | Audio is analysed on your device by an on-device model (Google MediaPipe). The audio is not sent to us and is not stored after the session. On some devices the App may instead use your device's built-in Android speech recognition service, which is provided by your device manufacturer or Google and may process the audio on their servers under their own privacy policy. |
| Photos (camera photo or a photo you pick) | Only when you open the Dog Scanner and take or select a photo, after you grant the camera permission (camera capture only). | The photo is saved temporarily in the App's private cache on your device, then sent over an encrypted connection to our AI provider (OpenRouter, which routes the request to an AI model such as Google Gemini) to identify the dog. We do not keep a copy of your photo on our own servers. The cached file is overwritten by your next scan and removed when you clear the App's cache or uninstall the App. |
| App settings (chosen language, sound settings, purchase status, screens you have seen) | While using the App. | Stored only on your device. Removed when you uninstall the App. |
| "Request new voice" form: your suggestion text, your email address (optional), your device model and your device language | Only when you open the "Request New" item on the Emotions screen, type a suggestion and press Submit. | Sent over an encrypted connection to a Google Form that we own, and stored in that form's responses. We read it to decide which new voices and features to add. The email field is optional — leave it blank and your suggestion is still sent. If you do enter an email, we use it only to reply to you about your suggestion. We never add it to a mailing list and never pass it to advertisers. The device model and language are included automatically so we know which device and language the request came from. |
| Messages you send us (email, feedback, support requests) | Only if you choose to contact us. | We use it to answer you. We keep it only as long as needed to handle your request. |
Like most apps, the App and its service providers automatically collect technical information:
| Data | Why | Who collects it |
|---|---|---|
| Device information: device model, manufacturer, operating system version, screen size, device language, country, network type, mobile carrier | To make the App work correctly, show the right content and diagnose problems | Firebase, Appodeal |
| App activity: screens opened, buttons used, features used, session length, whether an ad was shown, whether a purchase screen was shown | To understand which features people use and improve the App | Firebase Analytics |
| Crash logs and performance data: crash stack traces, error messages, app version, app start-up time, network response times | To find and fix crashes and slow screens | Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Performance Monitoring |
| Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / GAID) and ad interaction data | To show ads, limit how often the same ad is shown, measure ads and prevent ad fraud | Appodeal and its advertising partners |
| IP address and the approximate (coarse, city or country level) location derived from it | To serve ads relevant to your region, apply regional privacy laws correctly and prevent fraud | Appodeal, Firebase, OpenRouter |
| App instance identifiers (a random ID generated for your install) | To count unique users and deliver remote configuration | Firebase |
The App does not request precise GPS location, contacts, SMS, call logs, or your files outside what you choose.
The App offers an optional one-time in-app purchase. It is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card number, bank details or billing address. We only receive from Google whether your purchase is valid, so we can unlock the paid features on your device.
| Permission | Why we need it | Can you refuse? |
|---|---|---|
RECORD_AUDIO (Microphone) | To record dog sounds for the translator feature | Yes. The rest of the App keeps working; only the sound translator is unavailable. |
CAMERA | To take a photo of a dog in the Dog Scanner | Yes. You can still pick an existing photo instead, or skip the scanner. |
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | To load AI scan results, ads, remote settings and to check if you are online | Automatically granted by Android; no prompt. |
VIBRATE | For small haptic feedback when you tap | Automatically granted by Android; no prompt. |
The App uses Android's system photo picker to let you choose a photo. This means the App only receives the single photo you select and never gets access to your whole photo library.
We do not use your microphone audio or your photos to build advertising profiles about you.
| Purpose | Legal basis under GDPR |

The free version of the App shows ads. Our advertising partners may use your advertising ID and technical data to show ads that are more relevant to you and to measure ad performance.
You can control this:
Even in the paid, ad-free version, the App still collects basic crash and analytics data so it keeps working properly.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising outside of the advertising partners described above.
We share information only:
Our service providers operate servers in different countries, including the United States. When your data is transferred outside your country, we rely on the safeguards used by those providers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.
All network requests made by the App use encrypted HTTPS connections. Your settings are stored in the App's private storage area, which other apps cannot read. We limit who can access any data we hold. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not directed at children. It is intended for users aged 13 and over (16 and over in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, where local law requires that age for consent).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
You can always:
You have the right to: access your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to processing; receive your data in a portable format; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
You have the right to know what personal information is collected and for what purpose, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, the use of advertising identifiers by our advertising partners may be considered a "sale" or "share" under some US state laws. To opt out, turn off ad personalisation in your Android settings, or email us at [email protected] with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information".
Email [email protected] from the address you want us to reply to, and tell us what you want us to do. We will answer within 30 days (45 days for California requests, extendable once where the law allows).
The only information we hold ourselves is a "Request new voice" submission, if you sent one — we can access, correct or delete that directly. For everything else the fastest route is the self-service steps in section 14, and where a request has to go to one of our providers we will pass it on for you.
The App has no accounts and no sign-in. We keep no user database, no stored photos, no stored recordings and no profile about you.
There is one exception. If you chose to send a "Request new voice" suggestion, that submission is stored in our Google Form responses. It contains your suggestion text, your device model, your device language, and your email address only if you typed one. That is the only thing we hold about you, and only if you chose to send it. Section 14.4 tells you how to have it deleted.
Everything else the App saves — your language choice, sound settings and purchase status — is stored only on your phone.
Choose either option:
Our analytics and advertising providers hold technical data under their own privacy policies. You can act on this yourself, and it takes effect immediately:
This is the one thing only we can delete, because it is stored in our own Google Form responses. Email [email protected] and ask us to delete your submission. Tell us either the email address you entered on the form, or roughly what your suggestion said and when you sent it, so we can find the right row. We will delete it and confirm to you within 30 days.
For everything in sections 14.2 and 14.3 you do not need us — those steps are faster and fully under your control. But if you are stuck, email [email protected] and we will pass your request on to the relevant provider on your behalf and tell you what happened. Please include your device model and roughly when you used the App, so the provider can find the right records.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where the law requires, notify you inside the App. Continuing to use the App after the change means you accept the updated policy.
